VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At our College, we envision a united community where equality, respect, and understanding for the First Nations Peoples of Australia are at the heart of everything we do. We acknowledge the deep and lasting injusticesboth historical and ongoingthat have impacted First Nations communities since colonisation. We stand firmly against racism in all its forms and are committed to creating a culturally safe and inclusive environment for all.

Guided by Reconciliation Australia's five dimensionsRace Relations, Equality & Equity, Institutional Integrity, Unity, and Historical Acceptancewe take a holistic and proactive approach to reconciliation. We understand that meaningful change requires continuous learning, reflection, and action.

We are actively working to strengthen relationships with local First Nations communities in South Australia. This includes fostering a deeper understanding of their spiritualities, traditions, and perspectives, and embedding these into our College culture. Through professional development and training, we empower our staff and students to grow in their knowledge and appreciation of First Nations histories and cultures.

Our commitment to anti-racism is not just about wordsit is reflected in our policies, practices, and everyday interactions. We strive to dismantle systemic barriers and promote equity, ensuring that First Nations Peoples are valued, respected, and have access to equal and equitable opportunities.

Together, we are building a future where reconciliation is lived, not just spokena future where our College community stands united in respect, justice, and hope.
