Our vision for reconciliation is to aim for the historical acceptance of the shared histories between Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander peoples  and other Australians, embracing unity and removing negative race relations.  Bluebird Waterford aspires to continue to build strong, respectful, and authentic relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, through engaging in regular conversations, collaborations and increasing connections to build mutually beneficial partnerships with our service. 

Our vision for reconciliation is a national culture that represents equality and equity. For our centre, this includes providing opportunities for staff and children to learn about the true histories of Australia and the local Country, supporting participation in creating a reconcilied â€¯future of equality, equity and understanding. We understand that reconciliation is an ongoing journey, reminding us that while generations of Australians have fought hard for meaningful change, future gains also take a strong, continued effort.
