At Sorella Early Learning Griffin, our vision for reconciliation is to create a knowledge-based community where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples histories, cultures, and perspectives are respectfully embedded within our daily practices and curriculum. We aspire to nurture childrens growing understanding of, and respect for, First Nations peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land, ensuring that their voices, knowledge systems, and contributions are meaningfully represented and celebrated. We are committed to building and sustaining genuine, respectful, and ongoing relationships with the local Aboriginal Elders within the community, recognising the importance of listening, learning, and walking alongside them in partnership. Through professional learning, cultural workshops, and hands-on experiences, our educators will continue to deepen their cultural awareness and strengthen their ability to provide inclusive, authentic, and respectful teaching practices. By embracing reconciliation as an ever evolving journey, we strive to create an environment where children, families, and educators develop a shared sense of pride, belonging, and responsibility in supporting a more just, inclusive, and reconciled future for all Australians Citizens but especially our Aboriginal Peoples and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
