VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our reconciliation vision is committed to social justice, equality, and equity, acknowledging that this can only be achieved by acknowledging the ongoing injustices that colonisation and systemic racism has on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples; therefore, we prioritise inclusivity whilst honouring and embracing historical acceptance and the cultural diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We commit to learn from the wisdom of Elders and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members and their deep connections to Country. We strive to care about the land, animals, and people as one community and to share this vision locally and globally. In honouring our past, we approach our learning with integrity; with a commitment to teaching and learning programs that reflect different ways of knowing, understanding and experiencing the world, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's ways of knowing and being

In our commitment to cultural responsiveness, we will collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities as we strengthen our policies, practices, and learning experiences within culturally safe spaces and to guide our purpose.
