Goodstart Early Learning recognises and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia and as the Custodians of the Land on which we all live, work and play.     

Our vision for reconciliation is for Goodstarters to engage with reconciliation on both a personal and professional level, ensuring we are providing equal and equitabel educational outcomes and opportunities for all students. Through this vision, we are laying the foundations to grow current and future generations that acknowledge and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures and heritages as  part of a shared identity.     

We acknowledge the connections that local Traditional Custodians and First Nations peoples have with the Land which our early learning environments have been created. Goodstart is committed to building respectful relationships based on trust, respect and recognition of the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures as enduring, living cultures.     

On a foundation of equity, equality, integrity and respect we create high quality early learning experiences for all children. Goodstart commits to reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community and takes actions that support Closing the Gap Targets in education and employment.
