VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Goodstart Early Learning Centenary Heights, we honour the Giabal and Jarowair people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we learn, grow, and belong. We acknowledge and celebrate the diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nations represented in our communityfrom Wiradjuri to Palawa, Kamilaroi to Gubbi Gubbiand those who now call Toowoomba home. Our vision is to create a culturally safe and inclusive learning environment where every child, family, and educator feels deeply connected to Country, community, and culture. We are committed to embedding First Nations perspectives into our daily practices, relationships, and curriculumguided by respect, truth-telling, and reconciliation. Together, we walk forward with shared pride, recognising the enduring contributions, histories, and identities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We thank them for the land on which we have become family, where we are raised, where we play, and where we work.
