VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Albany Hills OSHC acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the Land on which we operate, the Turrbal people, and recognises that sovereignty over this Land was never ceded. We honour the enduring connections that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to Country and acknowledge their histories, cultures, and contributions as a vital part of our shared national story. We believe reconciliation is the responsibility of all Australians. At Albany Hills OSHC, all staff are committed to fostering cultural responsiveness, advocating against systemic inequality, and acknowledging and taking actions against the injustices that continue to impact Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our service is dedicated to building strong, respectful relationships with local First Nations communities and creating a culturally safe and inclusive environment where all children and families feel valued. As we continue our reconciliation journey into 2025 and beyond, Albany Hills OSHC remains committed to championing inclusive practices, embedding truth-telling and cultural respect into our everyday actions, and contributing to a more just and equitable future for all Australians.
