We at Kidz Retreat acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Original Custodians of the Land on which we learn, play and teach. In partnership with our community and families, we strive to deepen our knowledge about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories and perspectives. This knowedge and understanding is shared with the families we Welcome and the children we teach. We remember those who have come before us through learning about First Nations celebrations, Language and including Frist Nations perspectives respectfully into our everyday routine.  We strive to continue to build and maintain strong relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities.
