VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation at Busy Bees Fraser Coast is to create and maintain a community where all families, children and educators in our service feel an overwhelmingly positive sense of belonging and cultural security. We strive to ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, along with all families feel respected, valued and know they are part of our service community.     By utilising various learning frameworks we continue to provide meaningful opportunities for all children to achieve their full potential. Through deepening connections with the Butchulla people, the Traditional Owners of the Land on which our service stands, we will continue to grow our knowledge and develop further understandings of their histories, culture, and traditions as we continue to respectfully embed these perspectives into our practices.     All our Educators are committed to respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' perspectives into our programs and environments through experiences, research, literature and dedicated cultural displays in the room environments and are continuing to deepen their knowledge. We strive to continue extending our relationships with the local First Nations communities and deepening our knowledge as a team.
