VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Reconciliation means acknowledging the past, present and future. Working together to achieve respect, trust and equality. An ongoing process towards reconciliation is what we all need to be committed to.

West Moreton Community Kindergarten is strongly committed to reconciliation and have an ongoing commitment to strengthen relationships between First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous people and inclusivity for all.

Engagement in the process of reconciliation builds on our philosophy, guiding educators, children and families to learn from and about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people  to develop friendships, share culture and provide a space for listening and growing respect.

It is an opportunity for us to better understand and , as well as learn about the crucial impact that cultures, families and communities plays in the life of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and all children.
