At Florence Kindergarten, we respect and acknowledge First Nation's Peoples. We hold reconciliation as an important step in strengthening our relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples. It is our vision to educate children, families, staff and the wider community about the rights, cultures and histories of First Nations Peoples. We believe it is important that our children grow up understanding truths about our shared histories. We hope this will create closer relationships between Aboriginal and Islander peoples and other Australians. At Florence Kindergarten we hold equity, equality, dignity and respect for all people as central to our philosophy. As a kindy we daily remember that the Gubbi Gubbi people are the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we meet. We respect this Land and embrace working alongside the Gubbi Gubbi people to continue to care for it.
