Goodstart Early Learning Blackburn South is committed to promoting cultural responsiveness for all members of our Service and the wider community and respectfully including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives, knowledges and cultures within our everyday practice.  We strive to build and maintain respectful and trusting relationships with the Traditional Owners,  the Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation; their children, their families and our wider community while  working towards reconciliation with a focus on equality; equity and respect.   We believe our vision for reconciliation can be accomplished through respectfully developing relationships and connections within the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. We continue to respectfully  embedthe knowledge and histories of the Wurundjeri people people's  into everyday practices and educational programs as well as extending our knowledge of  other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.       Â
