Our vision for reconciliation is for all to respect and acknowledge the unique connections that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with the Lands on which early learning centres across Australia are situated, with genuine, respectful relationships between First Nations peoples and non-Indigenous people. We are dedicated to ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are actively recognised for being the First Peoples of Australia, committed to deepening our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ ways of knowing and learning.
We will continue developing genuine, respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities of Goodstart Early Learning Banff Ave. We strive to embed an awareness of, and respect for, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures into our programs, promote an understanding of diversity and inclusiveness. Our curriculums embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives, ensuring children understand the importance of reconciliation and respecting First Nations peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we learn.
We strive for all to hold a high degree of empathy, developing positive relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous members within the local community.
