We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the First People of Australia. We acknowledge the Wodi Wodi people of the Dharawal Nation as the Traditional Owners of the Land that Tongarra Road Preschool and Early Learning Centre is situated on. We recognise reconciliation in Australia is a journey involving both non-Indigenous people and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples must make together for healing and advancement of reconciliation for all. Together we recognise that First Nations peoples cultures are fluid and ever changing. We recognise the unique and important place of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions to Australia. These histories, perspectives and cultures from the cornerstone of all early childhood education and care.
