VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Woody Point Special School, reconciliation is a shared vision built on a school culture that values diversity, inclusion and the unique strengths of every student. Our commitment to reconciliation is underpinned and guided by three key elements of the Narragunnawali RAP Framework – relationships, respect and opportunities.

We continue to strengthen our culturally safe and responsive learning environment, fostering positive relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We continue to provide opportunities for students and staff to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures, histories and perspectives.

We strive to provide equal and equitable educational opportunities and outcomes for all students, valuing the participation and engagement of families and First Nations peoples within our school community.
