St Pius V acknowledges the Turrbal people, whose Land on which our faith-filled learning community stands. Once a meeting place of Elders past, these Lands continue to be a meeting place for our present and emerging leaders. Our vision for reconciliation is guided by the charism of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop and the Josephite sisters who inspire us to be compassionate, caring and act in service of others. In this way, we Live, Love and Learn together, creating a community who aspires to reconcile and unite Australia.  In the spirit of reconciliation, we make an ongoing commitment to strengthen relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. We will actively build a deepening understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, perspectives and spiritualities to ensure that our school community is a place where all people, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people feel safe, welcomed, respected and valued. We acknowledge past injustices and seek to work with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to promote positive and genuine reconciliation.
