Narrabundah Early Childhood School

The Narrabundah Early Childhood School's (NECS) vision for reconciliation is to create a culturally safe, equal, equitable and nurturing environment with a shared respect, shared meaning and shared knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples cultures, histories and continuing contributions. We believe that reconciliation is everyones business, and for everyones benefit. 

At NECS we aspire to continually advance reconciliation and implement outstanding reconciliation initiatives. The NECS Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is a dynamic, living document that has enabled NECS to continually strengthen relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians. We will respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and reconciliation actions and experiences into everything we do in the classroom, around the school and with the community. 

As we learn, grow, and walk together in reconciliation we are committed to continuing to co-create a strong, vibrant and connected community where all children and families at NECS have a strong sense of belonging and reach their full potential.
