West Coast Language Development Centre's vision for reconciliation is for our school community to continue to build our collective understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples histories, cultures, language and Country, especially that of the Noongar people and the Wadjuk Land on which our school stands.   

We are committed to fostering respectful relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and wider communities to engage in active truth telling, reconciliation, respect and recognition of First Nations Peoples.   

We will strengthen and promote equality, equity and inclusivity through our curriculum planning, practices and policies. We will provide a supportive platform for our First Nations students and families to share their voice, unique cultures and perspectives.
