At Caring 4 Kids Kindergarten North Richmond, we hold great value in reconciliation and the part we can play in making a change. We seek to educate the youngest generation about the acknowledgement and respect for the diverse peoples, cultures, customs, histories and circumstances of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We emphasise learning about the First Peoples of Australia, paying our respects specifically to the Darug people on whose Land we play and learn. Through embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives throughout our teaching practices, day-to-day routines and curriculums, we aim to make positive steps towards reconciliation.
