Edge Early Learning Morayfield is committed to providing a culturally safe space for all people within the community. A space where culture is respected, celebrated and embedded in every day life, rituals and routines at the service. Â Â Â We envision that all people from all walks of life can come together and respectfully learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and perspectives. Â The staff at Edge Early Learning Morayfield respectfully learn about Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander culture so we can support and share this knowledge within the Morayfield community. Â Â Â We wish for all families in the 4506 community and across Australia to be connected to community and Country and learn from First Nations people and respectfully share that knowledge to the younger generations. Â Â Â As a service we will be committed to embedding a culture of inclusiveness and acceptance that promotes reconciliation so that each family and child is welcomed, accepted and acknowledged within the community. Â Â Â As a service we will engage the community to build strong links with the Gubbi Gubbi people who are the Traditional Owners on the Land of which we meet, play and learn. Through these strong links we will continue to learn about Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander people, knowledge and perspectives within our service and continue along our journey of reconciliation.
