VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Peak Sports and Learning, we are committed to walking together on a shared journey of reconciliation, one grounded in respect, truth, and understanding. We recognise and honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia, acknowledging the Dharawal people as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we live, learn, and play. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our community.     Our vision for reconciliation is to foster and maintain a culturally safe and inclusive environment where all children, families, educators, and community members feel valued and respected. We are dedicated to building meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and respecting their enduring connections to Country, culture, and community.  Through our programs, we seek to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives and pedagogies in ways that are thoughtful, authentic, and locally informed. We strive to nurture curiosity, empathy, and understanding in every child, educator and family, encouraging them to appreciate the rich histories, diverse cultures, and ongoing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.     Together, we are committed to creating a united community where reconciliation is lived every day through our actions, our learning, and our relationships. By listening deeply, learning continuously, and acting respectfully, we  contribute to a better future for all Australians, built on truth, equity, and shared respect.
