We recognise and respect the teachings of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities across Australia.
Imaginations Early Education - Poidevin Place, Imaginations Early Education on Lagoon and Lilac Early Learning recognise the importance of embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives and histories in building the knowledge of children in our care. We aim to guide children's understanding through ongoing reflection, learning and education that focuses on deepening our connections with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We will work collaboratively with children, families, educators and the local community to build understanding, aiming for a future based on stronger relationships between all Australians.
We aim to visibly respect and acknowledge the ongoing connections Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with the Land on which our centre is situated. With these connections, we aim to build genuine and respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous people.
