At Jimboomba Community Kindergarten, our vision for reconciliation is a future where strong, respectful, and genuine relationships connect our community with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We honour the First Nations peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we learn and play, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. We are committed to creating a learning environment where every child, family, and educator feels a deep sense of belonging, safety, and pride. We believe that early childhood education plays a vital role in building a fair and just nationone where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children have equitable access to, and active participation in, quality early learning. Together, with non-Indigenous children, families, and educators, we seek to learn from, value, and celebrate the cultures, languages, and histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoplesrecognising their enduring connection to Country and their central place in our shared Australian story.
