Currajong Outside Hours Care acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the Lands across Queensland and pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging of the Wulgrukaba and Bindal peoples of this nation.  As a services, we believe that a reconciled Australia is a place where Aboriginal,and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non - Indigenous Australians are able to exist as one. We are deepening our understanding and knowledge of the histories cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We believe that as an organisiation within the community it is important that we show respect for and teach about First Nations peoples' histories and cultures that surround us and to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our everyday practise. As a team, we are committed to learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultures and histories, so that we are able to respectfully teach this knowledge to the students that attend our services and the wider community. As a part of our reconciliation journey, we will respectfully engage with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait people community, so that we as a whole are able to show and connect with their histories and cultures   Â
