Cambrai Early Learning Centre believe reconciliation means recognition, truth telling, respect and acknowledgement of the First People of Australia. It means listening and working together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It means actively engaging with, and understanding, Australia's histories and cultures. We consider it our responsibility to teach the importance of reconciliation to current and future generations. Cambrai Early Learning Centre continues to acknowledge, promote and acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, histories, traditions and ceremonies. We continue to work with First Nations people in the local community to create meaningful relationships and experiences. Cambrai Early Learning Centre strives to improve practices, policies, procedures, and philosophy statements, demonstrating our commitment to improve relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Cambrai Early Learning Centre commits to ensuring that all families, children, educators and community members are afforded equity and equality and role modelling the importance, and benefits, of sharing and respecting diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. We continue striving to provide an early learning service where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples feel welcomed and respected, where First Nations histories and cultures are respected and learnt, and children and families share reconciliation within the local community.
