St Mary's Kindergarten Warwick’s vision for reconciliation acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of Country across the continent of Australia. We acknowledge First Peoples' ongoing connections to the lands, waters, sky and community in which we operate. We pay our respect to the Githabul people’s, and all First Peoples’, ongoing cultures, contributions and perspectives.
We acknowledge and recognise the rich histories of First Peoples of Australia and strive to respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's perspectives and histories in our daily lives to promote justice, equity, equality and healing. We strive for children acknowledge and care for the sacred Country on which they play and learn, respecting the rich diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures as we walk the ongoing journey of reconciliation together.
Through understanding, compassion and unity we at St Mary’s Kindergarten strive to build stronger, respectful relationships with local Aboriginal and Torris Strait Islander community members as we deepen our knowledge.
