The Atherton Community Kindergarten aspires to establish a lifelong learning atmosphere that embraces all individuals and respectfully embeds Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into daily learning collaborations.
Our goal is to serve as a platform for promoting reconciliation through offering a culturally safe space and appropriately sharing information about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We strive for children and families to deepen their understanding and foster a future Australia that celebrates its rich cultural heritage.
We genuinely seek to forge stronger connections with the local Yindiji community, by building relationships, nurturing respect and creating opportunities to connect and learn together. Â
