Our vision for reconciliation at Gymea Montessori Academy is to enrich, enlighten and further educate all educators, families, and children within the centre about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples experiences and perspectives. Educators, families, and children will take this opportunity to develop a strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures within our education program. We value diversity within our service, and, for this reason, we will provide planned opportunities that broaden childrens, families and educators perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures and encourage everyone to participate, whenever possible, in connecting the home, the centre and the community. We at Montessori Academy, recognise and affirm that reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians is the responsibility of all AustraliansÂ
