Through our everyday interactions and community focus we acknowledge and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia and as the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our centre sits. We will continue to create bonds that reflect partnerships built on mutual trust, respect and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.Â
 Â
At Little Bandits Child Care Centre we respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders perspectives and heritages into our weekly program through a variety of mediums and experiences and through facilitating engagements within the service and the community to further extend connections with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members and organisations.Â
We have an ongoing commitment to build on these partnerships through genuine relationships and discussions that create opportunities for our co-workers and our children to be part of meaningful change, which will contribute positively to our reconciliation journey.Â
We will continue to grow, in ourselves as educators and within our children and families. Our Reconciliation Action Plan continues to develop at a steady pace allowing us to continue to grow our knowledge whilst achieving our goals. We here at Little Bandits continue to learn so much from and with the guidance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous families and our community. Â
