VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Stepping Stone Para Hills, our vision for reconciliation is rooted in a commitment to fostering a culturally safe environment that respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise the importance of creating spaces where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ voices are heard and respected, where their cultures are represented.

Our approach involves actively engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, ensuring that our programs and services reflect their needs and aspirations. We aim to build strong partnerships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, promoting understanding and respect for their histories and traditions.

We strive to create a culturally safe environment where all individuals feel respected and supported. This includes ongoing education for staff and community members about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, histories, and the significance of reconciliation. We believe that through collaboration, education, and respect, we can contribute to a more inclusive and equitable society for everyone.
