Goodstart Calliope

We at Goodstart Calliope envision a future where our early childhood service is a welcoming and inclusive space for all children, families, and staff, regardless of their cultural background or identity. We are committed to reconciliation and recognise the importance of building strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. 

We will create a sense of belonging in our service community for all children, families, and staff. 

We will respectfully acknowledge and embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, histories and experiences into our daily practices and programs as we continue to  foster a culture of understanding, empathy, and respect for diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.  

We will continue to build and maintain positive relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community.   We will provide opportunities for children, families, and staff and the wider community to learn about and engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultures and histories.
