Goodstart Early Learning Dakabin has developed this Reconciliation Action Plan to ensure the cultural histories, traditions and stories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities are respectfully embedded within our centre on our continued journey towards respect and understanding. Â We wish for our children, families and educators to learn and understand the importance of the histories, stories and traditions and to respect and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Â Educators continue to learn and implement our Reconciliation Action Plan and this ensures that we are working on being a culturally safe environment and respectful of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Â Â Â Through our work with children, families and local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities we seek to listen, learn and deepen our understanding and respect of First Nations cultures, tell the true stories of Australias history, and to care for the land on which we live, work, play and learn.
