VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Our vision for reconciliation at Goodstart Warwick Wood Street is to honour and respect the rich cultures, histories, and ongoing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, especially the especially the Githabul people of Bundjalung Country, on whose Country we learn, play, and grow.

We acknowledge the Githabul people as the Traditional Custodians of this lLand and recognise their deep, continuous connection to the land, sky, waterways, plants, animals, ancestors, language, and spirit of Country. We commit to learning from First Nations people this knowledge and ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives areit is respectfully embedded throughout our everyday practice.

Our vision is to:

- Build meaningful, reciprocal relationships with First Nations peoples and communities.

- Embed First Nations perspectives authentically across our curriculum and learning environments.

 - Create a safe, inclusive place where all children develop strong identities and understand their role in caring for Country.

 - Engage in ongoing reflection and professional learning to deepen our cultural understanding.     - Support truth-telling, equity, respect, and unity within our centre community.

We walk forward together with respect, responsibility, and a commitment to long-term reconciliation where it becomes part of who we are and what we do, every day.
