At West End Scott Street Community Kindergarten, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of  the children and their families attending this kindergarten. We continue to ensure that all children have the right to an education that shares the true histories of Australia.   We are committed to continued learning, acknowledging, and respecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives, and respectfully embedding cultural awareness in all aspects of our kindergarten.   We acknowledge that reconciliation is everyone's business and believe that building and maintaining meaningful, ongoing relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples is fundamental for all children in our society.   We recognise and value the cultures, perspectives, work and teachings of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their communities across Australia.  West End Scott Street Community Kindergarten believes in respectfully, raising awareness and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples true histories and diverse cultures, and by continuous learning and education, we will deepen our connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
