VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

At Goodstart Early Learning Flora Hill, we are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment where First Nations families feel safe and supported in entrusting their children to our care. We recognise and honour the unique rights, beliefs, cultures, and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and it is our priority to uphold and respect these values in everything we do.

We aspire to foster an atmosphere of understanding, where First Nations families know that their voices are heard, their cultural practices are embraced, and their children are celebrated for who they are. Our centre is dedicated to ensuring that the rights and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families are not only acknowledged but actively implemented in our practices, curriculum, and daily interactions.

We are motivated by a deep commitment to reconciliation, and through listening, learning, and collaborating with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, we will work to build a space where families can trust that their children’s well-being, culture, and heritage will be nurtured and respected.

By honouring the diverse backgrounds and traditions of each family, we strive to create a truly inclusive environment where all children, especially those from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, can thrive, knowing they are valued, safe, and understood.
