Winifred Nance Kindergarten acknowledges that it has a vital role to play in the reconciliation journey between non-Indigenous people and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Â Educators strive and actively work towards building their own personal understanding, knowledge and respect for the Gulidjan and Gadubanud people and the Country on which they work and play. Â Â
Winifred Nance Kindergarten embeds the EYLF, the NQF and all guiding outcomes, practices and principles, which all actively promote, embrace and respectfully guide early childhood centres and their educators in their pedagogical practice and learning journey. Â Â
Winifred Nance Kindergarten actively listens to First Nations families and respectfully includes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and perspectives in all curriculum and planning, so that children have opportunities to develop their own knowledge and appreciation of and for the diversity of all First Nations cultures and histories. Â Â
As a community, Winifred Nance Kindergarten continues to learn, develop and expand their knowledge and practices in authenticity and genuine respect. Â Â Â Â Â
