We will include the voices of children, families, educators and community in our vision for reconciliation at Yarrunga Early Learning Centre. We are committed to building trusting, inclusive relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within the local community and more broadly.  We will do this by delivering a culturally responsive educational program and respectfully embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures into our curriculum and daily rituals. We are committed to continuing to deepen our understanding of First Nations cultures by building genuine partnerships with Wiradjuri People, the Traditional Owners of the Land.  We will further our commitment by working with Wiradjuri People within the community to strengthen relationships and when appropriate, represent our partnership through the creation of resources. We believe cultural responsiveness is strengthened through access to authentic learning opportunities, meaningful and respectful relationships with  local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members, resources, and ongoing reflection of our pedagogical practices. We will maintain our  environments to be places that reflect peace, connectedness, unity, equity and equality fostering a sense of belonging and wellbeing for all.
