At Warrawong Community Preschool we continue to take action to work towards reconciliation. We strive to strengthen relationships with and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We will connect with the local First Nations community as we respectfully embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ perspectives into our curriculum and practices.
All educators and staff members agree that we want to develop and strengthen our knowledge and understanding of Australia’s histories and why reconciliation is so important.
We continue to extend our knowledge about Dharawal Country, language, and perspectives through research, community connections, events, walks on Country, and inviting local Community members into our service.
