At Goodstart Blue Haven we are committed to fostering a strong connected community. We strive toward Reconciliation by strengthening our understanding and respect for the rich cultures and values of the Darkinjung people. As a centre we believe that our Reconciliation journey is woven through everything we do. We are dedicated to embrace and explore the diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s cultures, heritages, backgrounds and traditions of the families represented within our centre and community.
Through working together and including children in our Reconciliation journey, we can collectively build our understanding for a better future based on stronger relationships between all Australians. We recognise the commitment required in developing and growing our Reconciliation Action Plan and we encourage all families and Educators in our journey to make it possible together.
Through this vision, we are laying the foundations to grow future generations that value and recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and heritage as a proud part of a shared identity.
