At Jenny's Kindergarten Padstow we strive to create and implement a culturally safe environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are deeply respected, valued and included. We aim to create a service free from tokenistic items, events and learning activities with a heavy focus on ensuring all learning and engagement is true and authentic. For all educators and management to understand the importance of being inclusive of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in their educational programs. To demonstrate exceeding knowledge of Australia’s history and share this knowledge with children, families and the wider communities. Together we as a service are committed to meaningfully celebrating and acknowledging all aspects of our shared journey to become culturally safe. As a team we believe that reconciliation is an ongoing commitment to educating, learning, growing and guiding through open and honest histories.
