At Hunters Hill Preschool we strive to embrace unity between First Nations People and non-Indigenous Australians.
Our vision for reconciliation is a preschool community that stands for equality, equity and respect, that celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures and connections to Country.
We demonstrate our commitment to reconciliation through reflection, continuous learning and thoughtful curriculum decision to create an environment of awareness and acceptance.
We encourage our teachers and educators to be culturally competent with a growing understanding and confidence in teaching and embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island perspectives throughout our program. We are committed to building ongoing relationships with families and sharing knowledge and understanding.
We believe that by working together, learning from each other and including children in Truth-telling opportunities, we can build a better future with stronger relationships between all Australians.
