Reconciliation is a personal and shared learning journey for educators, children and families at Little Diggers. It is something for EVERYONE at our preschool to understand and be a part of. We continue to foster a culture of respect, where we come together in harmony to actively engage with the rich histories and cultural diversity and continuing contributions of First Nations peoples across the amazing place we call Australia.  Â
We believe in children having the power to create change for their own and future generations. We deepen knowledge about, and genuine engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives, true histories and cultures among our children and their families, so that they can learn now and into the future.   Â
We understand the need for starting important conversations about, and taking actions towards reconciliation. Its never too late to un-learn, learn and re-learn together and to shape positive intergenerational change to create unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider Australian community.  Â
