Our vision is for an Australia where everyone is united, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures are respected and valued. We are working towards culture of fairness, equality, and understanding of our shared histories, while removing racism from institutions. At Goodstart Haberfield, we believe learning about reconciliation starts early. We teach children about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and perspectives through play, stories, and experiences that are meaningful and culturally respectful. Our educators work together to make sure equality and equity are part of everyday learning. We create and maintain a learning environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples perspectives are visible and valued, their inclusion guided by local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members.
