At Koondoola Primary School we envision a future where respect and cultural responsiveness drive us to create equal opportunities, remove racial barriers, and acknowledge our history and cultures, all while working together. 

Reconciliation will be embedded across all learning areas throughout the year, not confined to events such reconciliation week. Learning would prioritise recognising Noongar Boodja, the Land we are on, Noongar language, and the stories of the area. 

Authentic connection with local First Nations communities would be strengthened through working alongside Koondoola staff, grounded in deep listening and genuine partnership. This approach would prioritise respectful relationships with local Elders, seek guidance on cultural protocols, appropriately recognise and value community expertise, and create meaningful opportunities for Aboriginal families to actively contribute to school decision-making processes.
