The Quintilian School

At Quintilian School, our vision for reconciliation is grounded in our commitment to provide children with an integrated, hands-on, and meaningful approach to learning.  

We aim to embed reconciliation into the everyday life of our school, offering regular opportunities for students to engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories, cultures, and perspectives in genuine and respectful ways. Additionally, we are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where staff feel confident teaching about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives.    

We believe that a reconciled Australia feels calm, collaborative, and honest. At Quintilian, we strive to nurture these values in our students, staff, and wider community. Through this Reconciliation Action Plan, we seek to deepen our relationships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, especially the Whadjuk Noongar people, and to honour their knowledge, language, and connection to Country.  

We will continue to learn from them.
