Our vision for reconciliation at St Benedict's College is to continue to recognise the colonial impact of the past and show respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their histories, cultures and languages. We will achieve this through active participation in the community and committing to our continuing reconciliation journey. We strive for equal and equitable opportunities for all and promote a sense of belonging that embraces cultural values and beliefs through our Benedictine ethos, particularly community, prayer and compassion. Â We continue to deepen our partnerships with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, as we deepen the knowledge and understanding of First Nations peoples perspectives and stories. We will continue to respectfully weave First Nations peoples' cultures and perspectives into our College through celebrations, Days of National Significance, and incorporating within the curriculum. Â Â St Bendict's College recognises and respects First Nations peoples' cultures, languages and stories as a fundamental part of our core values and beliefs. We recognise the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which our College stands. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
