Our vision for reconciliation is to continue to develop our relationships with the Jagera and Turrbal peoples, providing a culturally safe environment and building a school culture that respects the diversity of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their cultures and contributions as we walk together towards reconciliation. Through this journey we have maintained continuous connection to Elders, providing opportunities for our students and families to deepen their engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories. As a community grounded in education, we remain committed to reconciliation as part of our everyday practice and respectfully embedding an understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives across all faculties and teachings. Being a Catholic school, we remain committed to forming a culturally safe and respectful community of teaching and learning from, about, and with First Nations staff members, families, and members of the wider community. As we embark on this next step in our reconciliation journey, we continue to recognise the ongoing impacts of our true histories, celebrate the progress we are making in the present, and look to the future for how we can continue our growth.
