We, as a community of learners at Emmaus Catholic Primary School, are committed to learning from Australias true histories and paving the way for a more reconciled Australia.  At Emmaus, we pursue fullness of life for all of our students, and as a school community we work together to ensure that every child, staff member, and community member feel a warm sense of welcome here. We make an unwavering commitment to ensure that every child has a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their histories, cultures and stories.  Guided by the cross curriculum priorities and the Child Safe standards, we commit to careful planning and consultation, as we continue learning about the longest living culture in the world. Through the development of our Action Plan, Emmaus Catholic Primary School will be culturally inclusive, sensitive, and respectful of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families.  Â
