The Parkhill Primary School community believes that reconciliation starts with acknowledging the past histories of Australia in order to move forward with the First Peoples of Australia. We strive to work together toward genuine understanding and respect as we acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' cultures and histories. Â
We aim to respectfully embed the histories, cultures and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and will ensure that this is reflected through school.Â
We will build meaningful relationships and work together in collaboration with the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.Â
We acknowledge that reconciliation is an ongoing process in which we strive to have First Nations perspectives woven into our school culture.Â
