VISION FOR RECONCILIATION

Fraser Primary School is committed to creating a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories and cultures are celebrated and respected, and where all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and all children, have equal and equitable opportunities to achieve their full potential.

We will work together to move forward with respect and acceptance of one another.

We aim for all students to receive a quality education, discover and take pride in their identities and cultures and feel supported at school.

We will do this by:

Respectfully including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in every classroom.    Instilling high expectations, aspirations and ambitions in all students.    Learning from the strengths of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures.    Learning about true, contextual histories of Australia.     Working collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and organisations within our local community.

At Fraser Primary, this vision comes to life through all staff delivering culturally responsive and inclusive teaching practices, authentic integration of First Nations perspectives across the curriculum, strong community partnerships, and a school culture where every student is proud of who they are and empowered to thrive.
